Post Econs paper celebration @ Fiq's Gastronomy

I know it's been a while since I've last updated. I'm really sorry to those who actually keep up with my blog :((. I've been busy preparing for midterms and I haven't had much time to spare. But no worries, I'm here now! And in a jolly good mood too because my Economics paper is over and done with which is a great reason to celebrate (which I actually did). I felt like a burden was lifted off my shoulders as of today. So so glad! Just a few more subjects to go.

So anyway, my friends and I went to Fiq's Gastronomy to celebrate after our paper today! Thought our tummy deserved some good, happy food which is exactly what our tummy got.

Very cosy looking interior.

Just Ning being weird and shit.

My virgin mojito & Ning's strawberry cooler in the background.

Spinach Risotto

Salted Beef Fettucine

Roasted Chicken

And dessert. Cause there's ALWAYS room for dessert...or maybe even three..

Some more S'mores please!

Granita

Baked Alaska

Really enjoyed the food and company. There was four of us and the bill came up to a hundred and eighty four dollars. But the portions were big and taste was good so I would definitely come back again when I have more cash haha. The desserts were so damn satisfying as well. I can't even. Oh, and did I mention that their service was good too?

On another note, for those who don't follow me on Instagram,  I changed my hair color again! A few weeks back actually.

From this..

To this!

Yeap, I'm a redhead again. Thought I needed a change but honestly though, I still miss my ombre blonde hair. But a bit of change is good right? :))

Till next time! x.

Big Spoon @ Setia Walk, Puchong.

Heyyyyy guys, so I thought I'd do a quick update before I go to bed but I'll probably post this in the morning lol. I've just been really lethargic all week and all I want to do is curl up in bed with some hot tea...ugh. I should really start studying for mid-terms as well but with all the drama going on in my life, I just want to put my life on pause.

Yeah half way through this post, I decided to procrastinate. Took some selfies and even tried touching my nose with my tongue. Ofcourse that didn't work. Sometimes I think Sam is the only person keeping me sane, What would I do without him. (and no he did not bribe me to write this haha)

So anyway, I finally got to try Big Spoon! I've been wanting to try Big Spoon for a while now cause it was such a big thing after Boat Noodles. I totally forgot to take a picture of the exterior of the restaurant hahah.

As you can see, they actually serve their noodles in big spoons which was pretty cool. They only had one type of noodle to choose from which was the cold chicken noodles as shown above and dumplings as well. The noodles were alright- nothing greaat but putting extra chilli oil made it so much tastier, The dumplings on the other hand, was surprisingly quite yummy! I had three portions to myself hehe.

They only serve bottled drinks. Sam said the drinks were from China but I really don't know. We ordered one coconut yoghurt drink and one sour plum drink. I usually hate coconut flavoured stuff cause of the smell but this one tasted okay. I really liked the sour plum drink though.

Now that I've tried Big Spoon, I really don't know what's the big hoo-ha about it lol. Tbh, I've ate so many other nicer noodles as well. Service was slow but the waiters/waitresses/manager was very accommodating so thumbs up for that! Overall, I would say that it's worth a try. Maybe it might just suit your liking, So yeah but I don't think I'll be back here again unless they change their menu every once in a while.

Opening hours : 11am - 10pm
D-7-G, Block D, SetiaWalk, Persiaran Wawasan, Pusat Bandar Puchong, 47160 Selangor
(located directly opposite Subway, nearby Tokyo Kitchen)

That would be all for now. Have a lovely day readers! :))
Till next time! x.

My week in a nutshell.

This is gonna be a long picture filled post so brace yourself guys. Haven't updated in a while so just gonna fill you guys in with the stuff I've been doing for the past week.

> Had lunch at Johnny Rockets for the very first time with Thabeena, Esther, Ning & Nicole. Their burgers are alright but their milkshakes are the bomb.com! Portion wise, it's really huge so I would suggest you share with a friend if you're not a big eater. Also, you have the option to change your bun to wholemeal and your fries to sweet potato fries.

> Baked pizza with Sam. It was really simple to do cause I bought the pre baked pizza base lol. Topped it off with fresh button mushrooms, canned pineapple, ham, bacon, chicken slice and a whole lot of cheese. It was really good but I would probably make my own base the next time.

> Crossed Coffee Chemistry off my Foursquare list.

Tea with the two Nicoles.

Super adorable 3D art.

Ice cream & waffles.

Salted caramel cake. Best salted caramel cake that I've tasted so far.

Hazelnut hot chocolate.

Belgium chocolate cake (not reccomended) .

My beautiful babies

>Sultan @ Mandarin Oriental KL

> Hangover brunch at MAP's with Nicole after partying the night before. I love the environment there and the food is pretty good too. Lovely place to just lay back and chill. Sorry to say it's not halal heh.

Porky pancakes (mine) & Eggs Benny (Nicole's)

Gula Melaka Cake

> Invited Ning, Nicole and Sam for dinner cause mommy was making chicken rice and a few other dishes for Mid-Autumn Festival. The food was so good and I'm practically salivating while I write this.

> Had date night with Sam at Bubba Gump. Cant remember the names of the food we ordered but it was all really good.

Refillable strawberry lemonade!

 Caesar Salad

> Connaught Pasar Malam with Sam. So many different stalls and it was really fun to walk through them all. Glad I got to cross this off our to-do list. I'm a happy girl.

Chow Tofu also known as the smelly tofu. One of my favourites even though it smells like drain. God knows why I like it.

Some sort of frozen banana thing with koko krunch

Bought this watermelon flavoured drink only cause it was in a baby's bottle (so cute). And I actually kept the bottle. The drink sucked tho lol, pun intended.

> MAP's again for the second time in less than a month. This time with Nicole, Carmen, Esther, Nigel, Tim, Sam, Jae Han, Andrew and the rest of Sam's friends. I think everyone enjoyed the food and the best part is that it's not pricey (and no gov tax, hooray).

T3 Omelette

Piglet loves burger

Map's porkballs. So so good.

French revolution

homemade bruschetta w bacon chip+mozarella cheese+tomatoes+basil

I guess that's all for now. Can't believe I'm finally publishing this after saving it as a draft for so long lol. I'm also too lazy to post the location of the places above so if you really wanna know just drop me a message on fb or ask fm alright :))

Till next time! x.
