Another month and hopefully many more years to come.

Yesterday was Sam and my 13th month together so we actually booked a deal on Groupon for D'Balcony because we actually heard that the pork ribs there were good. We're the kind of people who'd find all sort of reasons to celebrate because who doesn't like a good celebration right? Also, from what was shown on the Groupon deal, D'Balcony was supposed to be overlooking of the petronas twin towers so obviously that was what we both expected. When we arrived, the waiters didn't even bother serving us. We actually had to asked to be given a table. So we chose the outdoor table hoping to have an amazing view. Boy, were we wrong. The petronas twin towers seemed so far away and from where we sat, it was smaller than half the size of my pinky. And for prove, I took this.

How disappointing.

The food wasn't even close to being mediocre either. The ribs weren't well marinated and it had an odd porky smell which made me feel like gagging every time I shoved a mouthful into my mouth.

A side of fries and a pathetic piece of corn was served as well.

In the end, I decided that the best thing on the plate was that pathetic piece of corn lol. Not forgetting that the service was horrible. The waiters there pretty much ignored us even with our frantic waving and they were rude too. So guys, take it from me and do yourself a favour by never coming here cause it's awful. Worst restaurant ever wtf.

After that, we just walked around looking for somewhere to have dessert cause I wasn't satisfied with with the ribs (I only ate three mouthfulls) so we went to Ben's General Food Store for some more food hahah.

My first time trying the outlet in Publika. Normally I'd go to the one in Bangsar Village.

So much variety to choose from. I was in love.

"Can you not?"

Originally we only wanted to order the lemon slice but when I saw the salad bar, I couldn't resist lol. We also ordered the nutella milkshake which was really good. I'm a sucker for all things nutella hehe.

Forgot what this was called but I loved it so much. Eggplant, long beans & chicken.

Lemon slice.

Reason why I always take pictures of Sam without him noticing because THIS always happens. We don't have any nice photos together either cause he really doesn't like posing for the camera ugh. And I always end up forcing him and it still turns out ugly. I give up.

I was really happy with my salad and slice and shake. Yay, totally made up for that horrible D'Balcony place. But at the end of the day I realised that none of that really mattered (lies) because I spent it with the person I love. And I'm really thankful and blessed to have Sam in my life despite all our differences and misunderstandings. Happy 13 months poop ♥

Boat Noodles // Pot and Kettle Cafe @ Empire Damansara

Today I'm finally gonna blog my first proper blog post lol. Met up with Pui San and Goon May today at Empire Damansara for our overdue catch up/gossip sesh.

Glad that this finally happened because Pui San was on a hiatus for god-knows-how-long and it was so hard to plan a proper outing. Initially, our plan was to lunch at Jekyll and Hyde but they were having some on-going rearrangements of the restaurant so we decided to eat somewhere else. We ended up eating at Boat Noodles which I've actually tried already but didn't mind eating again cause I'm greedy like that hahaha.

Yes, THIS much for the three of us girls.

Oh and this too. Cause our table didn't have enough space lol.

Noodles & I

My favourite thai dessert. Its actually made out of coconut milk and pandan. So so so goooooood.

The aftermath. 26 bowls in total. I ate 10 bowls myself wtf. Felt like a monster (champion teehee!).

After we were finished, we decided that a meal is never complete without dessert. So off we went searching for a nice cosy cafe. Finally we settled for Pot & Kettle Cafe. The cafe looked pretty new and had quite a variety of desserts (which I forgot to take photos of) such as pavlovas, tartlets, cakes and even creme brulee. I ordered the molten lava cake and their reese latte cause I thought it was something different- so why not right? Goon May, on the other hand, ordered their raspberry chocolate drink and the mars bar cheesecake while Pui San ordered a slice of red velvet. Oh and did I mention they serve food as well? (other than coffee and cakes)

The chocolate lava cake isn't the usual ones you find in restaurants/cafe/dessert bars. It's a cross between a brownie and a cookie with a chocolate top. Hot chocolate sauce is then poured on top of the chocolate top, revealing a concave middle.

My verdict on the desserts we tried-
Chocolate lava cake : 9/10
Mars bar cheesecake : 10/10 (Loved it!)
Red velvet : 7/10 ( Pretty good compared to the rest I've tried but I'm really not the right person to judge cause I'm not a fan haha)

And,

here's some of the photos we took together (reunited at last!)

Hey Ya - OutKast

Hello all, welcome to my blog! So I've decided to start blogging again thanks to a friend who've  recently inspired me. I still might be a little rusty with this new blog thing as I haven't blogged since I was 14(?). Hopefully, I'll gain some readers who'll want to follow me throughout my blogging journey of nonsensical things & my not-so-interesting daily adventures.

I guess that would be it for now. Till next time! x.

(would be doing some minor changes to the blog so bear with me for now)
